Nacsport in the Scottish Rugby Union – Video Testimonial
Last week, we were up in Scotland visiting new users like Loretto School and our long standing users, the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU). With the SRU, we spent two days training analysts and coaches within the organisation on how to get the most out of their Nacsport licences since the Union have expanded their provisions to now be using more than 60 Nacsport licences across the different teams and league bureau services they have.
In this blog, I will share some pictures of the training days, a recap of the Nacsport journey that the SRU have been on and firstly a video testimonial from Lead Analyst, Rob Holdsworth, about the use of Nacsport throughout the Union.
The SRU began their journey with ourselves and Nacsport back in 2013, by choosing a combination of Scout Plus and Viewer licences for their U18 team. This was followed by Grant McKelvey, the Senior Regional Academy Manager at the SRU, choosing Nacsport Basic Plus licences for the Regional Academy Coaches, along with teams like Melrose RFC and Hawick RFC using Nacsport too. There was a great story about a profoundly deaf man called Adam Easton carrying out the analysis at Hawick RFC using their Nacsport licence, which you can read here.
The next team to fully start using Nacsport were the Scotland Women team, who got a combination of Scout Plus, Basic Plus and Viewer licences for the analysts, coaches and players to benefit from. After this, the new SRU Premiership Bureau Service that was set up began using Nacsport licences to carry out analysis for all of the BT Premiership teams. The amount of licences used by this service continued to expand, and this trend has carried on with more than 60 licences now being used across the Union covering age-grade teams, the Women’s 15 and 7s team, the BT Academy and BT Premiership teams.
We really enjoy working with the SRU and seeing our relationship continue to grow (more news soon!) and would like to say a HUGE THANKS to Rob Holdsworth for his video testimonial and all of the SRU for their continued trust in ourselves and our different services. We look forward to supporting you long into the future!
