British Curling AP Capture IP Camera Install

Posted on October 23rd 2017 by

Today, I would like to let you know about one of our latest fixed IP Camera installations with the AP Capture solution. The installation was for British Curling at their National Curling Academy, based at the Stirling Sports Village. We thought that the best way to show you this installation was with a video, so you can watch that below to see how AP Capture is used to access the 16 different IP Cameras that are installed at different positions around the 4 curling sheets.

8 overhead 4K IP Cameras with full PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) movement are operational, along with 8 fixed position 1080p IP Cameras that are located at a lower level, to show side-on views of the able bodied and wheelchair curlers in action. Along with being able to capture and control the cameras into the AP Capture laptops, all the cameras are constantly recording onto network drives so that they can be accessed live and post event, ensuring that every moment is available for recall from any camera.

The installation was carried out by Gerard Norman of Future CCTV, who we have worked with on many AP Capture installations. Gerard received fantastic praise from all at British Curling for his excellent workmanship, communication and adaptability. We strongly recommend Gerard's services for all clients looking at AP Capture IP Camera installations.

If you are interested in fixed IP Camera installations, then please don't hesitate to get in touch. Our AP Capture solutions provide high quality IP Cameras and a software developed from the ground up, which gives smooth and simultaneous PTZ movement controls of up to 2 cameras at the same time, along with capturing both of these into high quality MP4 files. You can synchronise sound at the same time, with our POE sound devices being a latest addition for outdoor solutions, and you can now even live stream your footage to YouTube or Facebook whilst controlling and capturing your cameras inside AP Capture!
