Charlie Barwis Interview
On wednesday of this week we were invited to Millfield School to enjoy a day of sport between Millfield and Sedbergh School teams. We took this opportunity to film an explanation and demonstration of our IP Camera Solution and are looking forward to releasing a video of that as soon as possible. Once again, it was a great chance to catch up with Charlie Barwis (Millfield School Performance Analysis Intern) so that he could use the IP Camera Solution to film the 1st XV Rugby match in the afternoon (which was boisterously supported heavily from both sides!) and also sit down for an interview with Josh Bryan to let people know about his experiences in analysis, the journey which has led him to his unique position and the processes they carry out at the school now. We’re so pleased to be able to support Charlie with our whole product range, which the school are using excellently, and it’s great to see how in just a few months, Charlie and his support network have transformed the school from an environment without the use of performance analysis to somewhere which other clubs and schools could learn a lot of lessons from.
Thursday was a chance for Josh to provide a Skype demonstration of Codimg video analysis software to a medical simulation team. The feature set available went down like a storm and we’re looking forward to working closely with this organisation and further improving their feedback and teaching processes within the medical industry. In the afternoon, Josh visited his local premiership club Exeter Chiefs to catch up with the Academy coaches and see how they are getting along with their Nacsport software. It was a successful afternoon where the coaches were further up-skilled, questions were answered and new processes and workflows were planned for the team to get the most out of the software and their feedback processes.
