Nacsport Tutorial: Creating Statistical Dashboards

A live tutorial on building and designing a Dashboard in Nacsport.

Dashboards turn tagged data into something a coach can read at a glance, but only if the design decisions are right. The session covers laying one out, choosing which numbers earn space, linking dashboard elements back to the video, and the mechanics that sit behind each display.

Because it was run as a live Q&A, much of the session is spent on problems raised by people building their own dashboards, which tends to cover the things a scripted tutorial misses.

Recorded in 2019, so the interface has moved on in places, but the design thinking holds up.
