Nacsport 8.0 - Redesigned and Available on Windows and macOS
This is not your usual update, with a few exciting tweaks here and there. Nacsport 8.0 is a complete overhaul of the software as we know it. It includes a redesigned user interface, smoother workflows, powerful new tools, and what a lot of people have been waiting for, macOS compatibility. This important achievement will make Nacsport available to even more people, and we can’t wait to welcome them on board.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Nacsport 8.0 interface is its new look. But don’t be fooled; this isn’t just an aesthetic change. The interface has been reorganised and redesigned to facilitate your analysis and speed up your working processes.
The main menu can be customised, so that your most frequently performed tasks are readily accessible. You can create a Timeline profile with a personalised toolbar, which can be saved and loaded whenever required. Some of Nacsport’s popular tools are also easier to access and available throughout the video analysis process.
Overall, the new interface has been redesigned carefully for performance analysts. The new design allows for a faster, natural, and user-friendly experience.
As we have already said, this is not just a new look and feel. Nacsport 8.0 has many new processes and tools which will provide users with a whole new level of usability.
Here is a breakdown of what’s new in Nacsport 8.0

NACSPORT FOR MAC
Nacsport 8.0 brings with it the first ever version for macOS. It has the same great design and workflows that are available on the Windows version, with only a few exceptions. Right now, you can download Nacsport Basic, Basic Plus and Scout for macOS. Pro and Elite will be released at a later date.
Nacsport licenses are transferable between Windows and macOS computers. If you want to switch from a Windows machine to macOS (or vice versa) you simply need to deactivate your license on one and reactivate it on the other (please note that you can’t use the one license on both machines simultaneously).
If you’ve been using Nacsport on Windows for a long time, your collection of analysis templates, analysis work, and presentations is probably considerable. Don’t worry! You won’t lose this work when you migrate to Mac. Everything can be exported, imported, and converted quite simply.
Since launch, most of the Nacsport analysis tools will be available to Mac users. However, some features, such as dashboards and graphic descriptors, won’t be available until a future update. In the meantime, you can still use your license on both Mac and Windows machines.
When you choose to update to Nacsport 8.0, whether that be on Windows or macOS, you will be sure to see a huge leap in the evolution of the software. A brand new interface which is quicker and more enjoyable to use. Streamlined workflows and powerful new tools to make your analysis more impactful and quicker to complete.
