The esports arena is not just booming; it's a sophisticated ecosystem demanding sharp analytical skills for that crucial competitive edge. AnalysisPro is incredibly proud to partner with forward-thinking esports teams, companies and institutions like South Devon College, who are championing the use of our Nacsport video analysis tools to educate and empower the next generation of esports professionals. This dynamic collaboration was brilliantly showcased at South Devon College's recent student-led esports tournament, Radiant Rumble 25, where AnalysisPro was on-site to support the live analysis operations.
South Devon College is embedding professional-grade tools directly into its esports curriculum, which spans Level Two, Level Three, and a new HND Higher Education course in Esports Production. As Joseph Cook, who runs the esports production courses at South Devon College, explains, their focus is broad:
"We mainly focus on the production and events side of things, so our students will work up...building these core skills for analysis, production, events management, streaming, broadcasting."
The annual Radiant Rumble event, featuring the popular Riot Games title Valorant, serves as a capstone experience.
"The students run the entire production," Cook notes, "from planning all the way over to recording data and analytics and then again all the way over to running the live event - camera work, switches, graphics, the whole lot."

This year, Nacsport played a significant role.
"We're starting to work with AnalysisPro in our HND, which will be fantastic," says Cook. "One of our modules is focused on game analytics and using that for broadcast, using it for the talent to look at and break down and really just using it too for general KPIs after an event."
The software was put to practical use at Radiant Rumble:
"It's a fantastic tool, we're using it actually today on the event to log some information for some stats for the players, it's doing its job very very well. We're loving using it and we're really excited to use it on our course."

Joseph Cook sees immense potential in applying Nacsport, traditionally used in sports like football, rugby and hockey, to the esports domain.
"There's a lot of parallels between sport and esport... there's so much data to gain from esports and this software is going to take us on leaps and bounds and really give the students a chance to get hands-on, really get deep into that information and really produce data at the end that can be given to casters and used for general league table data."
Enhancing this capability is Nacsport Hub, which Cook describes as a game-changer for accessibility:
"Nacsport Hub... will allow our students to get access anywhere anytime on the online platform... So it gives them a real accessibility to reach out and use that, which is what we're including in our package which is fantastic."

A key factor in this successful integration has been the close collaboration with AnalysisPro. With some of our staff living locally to the college, our team has been able to provide dedicated support. Cook elaborates:
"Having AnalysisPro here to work with us has been fantastic. They're on hand producing tailored content for us to help us, they're actually providing panels and run-throughs of the software, whereas some companies will just give it to you and go 'that's it, that's done, have fun with it' , these guys are really coming in and just being there for us and really helping us get from knowing nothing, to hopefully being pros in the software so we can take that to the students."

The use of Nacsport and Nacsport Hub at South Devon College, culminating in events like Radiant Rumble 25, delivers tangible benefits:
Practical Skill Development: Students gain vital experience with industry-standard analysis software in a real-world setting.
Deep Strategic Understanding: They learn to identify KPIs, analyse team strategies, and understand individual player journeys.
Enhanced Production Value: Data outputs can directly feed into live broadcasts for casters and create comprehensive post-event reports.
Unprecedented Accessibility: Nacsport Hub ensures students can continue their analysis work remotely, fostering flexible learning.
AnalysisPro is thrilled to be part of South Devon College's innovative approach to esports education. This partnership, built on shared enthusiasm and dedicated support, highlights how powerful analysis tools can unlock new levels of understanding and performance in the exciting world of competitive gaming.
