If you saw this previous blog, you will have seen the ways in which English Super League team Huddersfield Giants made use of the Nacsport video analysis software. Today I am delighted to announce that the Giants will continue to use Nacsport within their feedback and coaching workflows, by using a combination of their Pro Plus licence, 2 Basic Plus licences and 2 Basic licences.
The Pro Plus licence will continue to be the main licence for carrying out in-depth analysis of the senior team both live and post-event for games and training, with the other licences being used by coaches in both the senior and scholarship setups. We’re very happy that the video analysis processes are filtering throughout the whole organisation and look forward to hearing how the younger players benefit from their new review workflows!
Rick Stone has kindly shared this fantastic feedback about Nacsport:
As Head Coach of the Huddersfield Giants, I can say that we are extremely happy with the performance of Nacsport to edit video and educate our players. Nacsport provides our club with the flexibility that allows all our teams, from scholarship to Super League (including our dual registration club Oldham), to log video footage and present a clear and direct account of what has taken place on the pitch. We use Nacsport to edit our training video and then produce a presentation of the highest quality, that leaves our players with a clear picture of what is expected.
After being involved in coaching Rugby League at a professional level for 22 years at both NRL and Super League level, I can recommend that Nacsport is the most flexible and economical software that I have come across. I would thoroughly recommend Nacsport to anybody from the community clubs right through to the professional clubs.
The Giants use a lot of drone footage for their training sessions, all of which gets reviewed in Nacsport straight after the session. The video below includes a sample of that footage, which Rick exported from within Nacsport, along with some text and image that he overlaid. Thanks Rick!
We’re proud to continue supporting the Giants with their video analysis tools and wish them the best of luck with the 2017 Super League season!
