Carlow GAA choose Nacsport
Today, we would like to announce one of our first Nacsport users from the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association). The GAA is an Irish and international amateur sporting and cultural organisation which primarily promotes gaelic games, most notably Hurling and Gaelic Football. With all of our different solutions and products we are already working with a few Irish users including the Irish Rugby Football Union, Munster Rugby, Connaught RFC, Sports Institute Northern Ireland, Mardyke Arena (University College Cork), University College Dublin (UCD), Presentation College Bray and lots of other individual users and students with the Nacsport Student Rental Licence.
Carlow GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for Gaelic Games in County Carlow. The Senior Hurling Team of Carlow GAA are now working with us after getting a Nacsport Scout Plus licence. We were introduced to this team and chosen by them after a student from IT Carlow University, John Farrell, came to us and got a Nacsport Student Rental licence and a Nacsport Tag&go iPad app licence for himself. Alongside his MSc Performance Analysis studies at IT Carlow, John is also the Performance Analyst with the Carlow Senior Hurling team. He has given some more information on how Nacsport will be used and why it was chosen for the team below:
I heard about Nacsport from a classmate who recommended the product to me. The reason I chose it for the team I am working with was because I felt it had all the features I needed. I am able to design my template and customise it the way I want. I will use Nacport to produce short video clips and stats for the coaches and also for the players. Nacsport allows me to link more than one video file at a time, export presentations and create a matrix from the timeline. The software is very user friendly and efficient. The support from the Nacsport team and Josh Bryan at AnalysisPro has been brilliant. They are always on hand to help with any issues or questions that arise.
We would like to say thanks to Carlow GAA for their trust in ourselves and Nacsport and also a big thanks to John for sharing his words.
